Building upon our acclaimed 2019 collaboration We Are All Just Little Creatures, Curious Seed and Lung Ha Theatre Company joined together again in November/December 2023 to begin a research and development period on a new performance work entitled, The Table. During a creative residency supported by Dance Base Scotland, we explored questions inspiring this new work using movement, text, music and design.

Who gets a seat at the table (and who doesn’t)?

And once we’re there, what shall we do – talk, eat, plan, lay our cards out, get on it and dance, turn it upside down…

A new phase of research and development will take place in December 2024, in association with Lyra and will once again be supported by Dance Base Scotland.
